What Are GoMining Digital Miners?

What GoMining digital miners are, how TH and W/TH work, how daily rewards and maintenance fees are handled, and the risks to understand first.

What a digital miner is

GoMining sells digital miners. Each is an NFT that represents a share of Bitcoin mining hashrate hosted in GoMining's data centres. You do not host or power any hardware yourself.

Each miner has two key numbers: its size in TH, which is its hashrate, and its efficiency in W/TH, which is how much power it uses per unit of hashrate.

How you earn

Miners earn Bitcoin rewards based on their share of the network, and the balance is credited daily. The amount moves with network hashrate, difficulty and the Bitcoin price, so it is never fixed.

What maintenance is

Maintenance covers the running costs and has two parts: electricity, which depends on the miner's power and efficiency, and a service fee, which depends on the miner's size. It is taken from rewards, in Bitcoin by default.

Platform discounts can reduce it, such as paying part of the fee in the GOMINING token. See the maintenance guide for the full breakdown.

What to check before you buy

Work through the numbers yourself rather than relying on a headline figure.

  • Use the GoMining tab of the calculator with your own TH, W/TH and discount.
  • Look at the break-even Bitcoin price, not just the best case.
  • Remember that estimates change with price, difficulty, fees and platform costs.
  • Only commit money you can afford to lose. Mining carries risk and results vary.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to run any hardware?
No. The miner is a digital asset and the mining is hosted by the platform.
Can a digital miner lose money?
Yes. If maintenance is higher than the value of rewards, the net result is negative.
What do TH and W/TH mean?
TH is the miner's hashrate. W/TH is the power it uses per TH. Lower W/TH is more efficient.

Try it with your own numbers in the mining calculator. Estimates change with Bitcoin prices, mining difficulty, fees and platform costs. This is education, not financial advice or a promise of returns.
